Agreement to Terms

By texting, calling, or otherwise interacting with Emmie, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

Emmie is an AI-powered Family Operating System accessible through the web app, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, GroupMe, and Voice. Emmie provides intelligent family orchestration, calendar management, inbox organization, meal planning, homework help, reminders, and more.

Use of Service

You agree to use Emmie responsibly and not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Send spam or unsolicited messages through Emmie

SMS / Text Messaging

Emmie can text you. If you opt in, Emmie sends recurring automated text messages to the mobile number you provide: reminders, daily digests, check-ins, and replies to the messages you send Emmie.

Consent. You give express consent by opting in on our Text Emmie page or in the app. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Frequency. Message frequency varies with how you use Emmie and which programs you turn on.
Cost. Msg & data rates may apply.
Opt out & help. Reply STOP to any Emmie text to stop all texts from Emmie. Reply HELP for help, or email support@tryemmie.com. To turn off a single program without stopping everything, open Settings → Notifications → Messaging Programs in the app.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Free and Paid Plans

The Free plan provides basic access to Emmie with limited AI interactions. The paid plan (Emmie — Full Access at $19.99/month or $220/year) unlocks everything Emmie offers with no feature gates. New accounts receive a 15-day free trial without providing a payment card at signup. A valid referral code extends that trial to 30 days total. When the trial ends, access is paused until you choose a paid plan and provide a payment method. Paid plans can be canceled at any time.

AI Limitations

Emmie is an AI assistant and may occasionally provide inaccurate information. Emmie is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or emergency services. In an emergency, always call 911 or your local emergency services.

Intellectual Property

Emmie and its agents, design, and technology are owned by us. Your content (messages, family data, preferences) remains yours.

Limitation of Liability

Emmie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed reminders, inaccurate information, or service interruptions.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Emmie after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
